Members of Nesbitt VFD participated in training held by the Waskom Fire Department. Firefighters from Waskom, Elysian Fields, and Nesbitt joined forces to conduct training in the Waskom training facility. Mock search and rescues and Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) exercises were staged in the smoke-filled obstacle course to help firefighters experience complex rescue situations in a controlled environment.
